These photographs are an exploration of the vast, hasty and corrupt construction that has recently ground to a halt on the Costa del Sol. Made from a pinhole camera they represent another way of considering the landscape, trampled by a capitalist desire, in the time of Crisis. These Urbanizations are designed for the prevailing human aspiration for lifestyle, but now hundreds of thousands of crumbling properties lie empty in the wake of a frenzy of human greed. Beneath the shadows cast by these motionless districts of crumbling concrete, lies dormant the spirit of the Andalucian landscape.
